Vagabond Media Ltd. was founded in 2004, as the publisher of high-end magazines in Bulgarian and English, and of books targeted to both Bulgarians and English speakers who want to discover the country beyond the beaten track.
In 2010, the team of Vagabond Media created an NGO, the Free Speech International Foundation. The Free Speech International Foundation is dedicated to the protection of human rights, integration of minorities and freedom of speech. Free Speech International also aims to promote Bulgaria, with the English-language travel books, as a sustainable tourism destination.
